What are the different assessment types?
Online assessment
This assessment is conducted by a qualified and experienced audiologist via secure video call.
Includes:
- Medical and Tinnitus History Evaluation
- Tinnitus Evaluation
- Treatment Suitability
- Treatment Recommendation
If you are completing an online tinnitus assessment, we ask you to submit a copy of a recent hearing test (from within the last 3 months) before your appointment. The audiology team will then use this as part of your assessment.
In-clinic assessment
This assessment is conducted by a qualified and experienced audiologist in our clinic in the Hermitage Medical Clinic, Dublin, Ireland.
Includes:
- Full Medical and Tinnitus History
- Diagnostic Audiological Tests
- Tinnitus Evaluation
- Treatment Suitability
- Treatment Recommendation
If your appointment is in-clinic then the hearing test is included as part of your assessment.
