Initial Tinnitus Assessment

HideShowAt your Initial Tinnitus Assessment our clinical team will assess if a hearing aid(s) is a suitable option for you. This includes:
– Diagnostic audiological assessment
– Tinnitus assessment and evaluation
– Tinnitus education and guidance
– Treatment recommendation
– A personalised treatment plan tailored to you
Please note the diagnostic audiological assessment is not included in online tinnitus assessments. Prior to your online initial tinnitus assessment, you are required to submit a recent audiological assessment report. If you do not have this information, you will need to arrange an appointment with a local audiologist. Ask our team for more information.

Hearing Aid Fitting Appointment

HideShowAt the Hearing Aid Fit Appointment, your hearing aid(s) will be configured and fine-tuned to your hearing profile.
This appointment includes:
– Verification of your hearing aid using Real Ear Measurements (REMs)
– Hearing aid usage training
– Supervised use of device before using at home
– A personalised tinnitus education and guidance plan

Follow Up Assessments
45 minutes
HideShowThree follow up assessments are included in your hearing aid plan. Our team will assess your progress with your hearing aid(s).
– First Follow Up: 4 weeks into the treatment plan
– Second Follow Up: 3-6 months into the treatment plan
– Third Follow Up: 12 months into the treatment planAppointments Include
– Repeat audiological and tinnitus assessment (as appropriate)
– Hearing aid(s) setting adjustment to maximise potential benefit
– Guidance for ongoing home use
– A personalised tinnitus education and guidance plan

What Does Your Treatment Plan Require From You?

Hearing Aid Trial
We offer a 30-day trial period on all our hearing aids. All we require is a 50% deposit of the cost of you hearing aid(s). The trial period begins from the date of your fitting appointment. If you wish to return the hearing aids at the end of the trial period, we will refund the full 50% deposit once we receive the hearing aids within 30-days.
Treatment Benefit Scheme
If you’re based in the Republic of Ireland you could save up to €1000 on your hearing aids if you are eligible for the Treatment Benefit Scheme. If you qualify for the scheme, you can also claim up to €100 per hearing aid towards the cost of repairs. The scheme is available to insured workers, the self-employed and retired people who have the required number of PRSI contributions. Health Insurance Cover
If you have private health insurance, check with your insurance company to see if your policy covers your Hearing Aid(s) and Assessment fees.
Tax Relief
You may be able to claim tax relief on the cost of your hearing aid(s). Visit revenue.ie for more information on how you can claim relief on health expenses.
